Andrew - 11 days old

I had fun taking pictures of Andrew, although he did make us work for them! One of my favorite pictures is one with his eyes open - funny since we spent so much time trying to get him to fall asleep. It was great to first take maternity pictures with you Lea and then finally to get to meet Andrew. You have a wonderful family and you should be very proud. I hope you enjoy the pictures that we captured.

Liam - 6 months old

I had the pleasure of taking pictures of my neighbor and her son for his 6 month old pictures. He made it so easy, with his big smile and adorable face. Ashley, thank you so much for allowing me to capture some of these wonderful moments. After seeing these pictures, I hope you never want to go back to Sears again! I would love to get Liam and Tyler together to play sometime. After all, we don't have far to walk! Enjoy your pictures...and each day with your son.

Family Pictures

If you know me at all, you know how many times I try to get family pictures...and normally it doesn't turn out really that well. Although I didn't take these pictures, I have to share them because we finally got some good ones! Thanks so much to Kelly Hess for taking some beautiful pictures for us. Kelly is currently expecting her 2nd child and I plan on returning the favor as soon as she has her new addition. Although most of Kelly's experience has been with weddings, she agreed to giving us a shot - and I think she did a wonderful job. I'm so glad we are able to do this for each other! Thanks again Kelly.

It's amazing when I look at these photos to realize again how quickly our family is growing up. Tyler is now 6 months old and trying to become more mobile. I think he has go-go-gadget arms! Colby just turned 2, and he is coming into his own. He is learning more and more new words and makes us laugh on a daily basis. Jade is our little princess. She loves her brothers and is very mothering to them. Not sure how we got so lucky.

We remember to give thanks each day for the wonderful family that God has given us.

July 4th at Newton Lake

Finally....finally. We made it to Newton Lake for the 4th of July. This is a tradition, which we haven't been able to take part in since the kids have been around. We decided that it had been long enough and we made the trip up to the lake. The kids had a blast, and now I think it will be a yearly trip. My how the times have changed....
